COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
About JUNE
What is JUNE?
JUNE is Trexo Global’s automation product for the work behind IP prosecution. It takes recurring prosecution tasks, including data retrieval and validation, document generation, filing preparation, IDS management, and Office Action preparation, and runs them as guided workflows. The focus is less setup, usable work product, and professional review where it matters, saving your IP docketing and paralegal teams countless hours.
How does JUNE work?
JUNE is task-led and conversational. You select the job you need to complete, provide the relevant matter details, and JUNE guides the supported workflow to task completion. The pattern is the same every time: pick your task and enter matter details. JUNE does the rest.
What does JUNE give you back?
Depending on the workflow, JUNE returns structured data, generated documents, retrieved records, filing-related work, or draft shells. It is designed to return work product a team can use, not just information to read.
Which modules does JUNE include?
JUNE currently has eight modules: Bibliographic Data Extraction, Document Generation, IDS, Patent File Wrapper Downloader, New Applications, Oath/Dec and ADS Downloader, OA Shell Draft, and Claims Formatter.
How is JUNE different from the standalone modules on the Trexo Platform?
The Trexo Platform is a collection of independent apps. JUNE is one of them, and it contains several modules of its own. Some of those, including PTO & Custom Forms, IDS, New Applications and Office Action Shells, are also offered as standalone apps on the platform. The distinction is the data source. Standalone apps integrate with your IP management system and work alongside it. JUNE's modules work directly from patent office databases, so no integration with your internal systems is required. Teams can use either, or both.
Does JUNE replace professional judgment?
No. JUNE automates prosecution tasks, leaving professional review and judgment with the attorney, paralegal, or docketing team responsible for the matter. JUNE’s output is the starting point prior to team review and moving the matter forward.
Does JUNE work alongside our existing IP management system?
Yes. JUNE runs alongside, not a replacement of, the IP management system you already use. There is no migration, no data conversion, and no need to replace the enterprise systems your team works in today.
Can JUNE prepare an Office Action response?
Yes, JUNE prepares an Office Action response shell using the Office Action or rejection and the last-filed claims. JUNE also helps standardize claims and surface discrepancies or observations that may require review.
Can JUNE reduce IDS and reference work?
Yes. JUNE reduces the searching, downloading, counting, and organizing that happens before review, and gives a clearer way to track supported IDS and reference work.
Can JUNE process work in bulk?
Yes, tasks within JUNE can be performed in bulk, with progress tracked and completed tasks returned to IP paralegals and docketers in the platform and via email.
Can JUNE help with a portfolio transfer-in or lateral intake?
Yes. JUNE retrieves and validates core patent and trademark information in bulk, including bibliographic, priority, continuity, and ownership-related details. JUNE can also bulk generate POA and 3.73 forms to reduce time and effort in managing transfer-ins.
Can JUNE be configured to our firm's templates?
Yes, JUNE supports configured firm and client templates and workflow behavior, including client-specific document requirements, on top of the standard workflows.
What does it take to get started with JUNE?
Three steps: get access, choose the task, start working. JUNE workflows are accessed through the web interface, so user access can be set up and the team can begin with the workflows immediately.
Who is JUNE built for?
JUNE is built for IP teams, including attorneys, paralegals, and docketers who handle recurring prosecution work. It is designed around the prosecution tasks teams handle every day, rather than generic software use cases.
